Welcome to the homepage of the Living Well with Water project! This is a research project that aims to better understand the relationship between people and York’s rivers. We want to understand questions like why the rivers are important to people, how might the rivers have played a part in York’s history and how people would like to develop the way in which the city lives with water.
The project will host workshops and events that have these questions in mind and will look to give voices to those who are affected by decisions around the management of our rivers.
